Small Hazel

Small Hazel was found by our friend Lili
and she is going tomorrow in foster at our volunteer Dan

Update 22.08.2012 Hazel Lizzy is doing great, she's been eating well and has put on weight. She is now 700 grams, she's been putting on 100 grams a day :) Hazel needs a foster in Timisoara from now on, she needs someone willing to give her the time and love she deserves in order to become the beautiful doggy she is meant to be. Please foster Hazel Lizzy!! She is now up for adoption!!
Update 21.08.2012 Hazel seems to be feeling much better, she's a bit more active and walked for about a minute. She had dry food this evening and loved it :)
Update 20.08.2012 Part of the worms are out..dead and some others still alive unfortunately. Good riddance to them. Hazel is still sleeping a lot and getting vitamins. She started eating alone and looks much better but still fighting the worms, not active at all, just sleeping 99% of the time. Her eyes look much better, she started opening them but they're whitish. We're hopeful she'll still be able to see.
Update 19.08.2012 She's had 2 seizures so far and I thought she would die but then seizures stopped after about a minute each and she went back to sleep. She's still on medication, got her vitamin and antibiotic shots this morning. The worms seem to be getting to her and not sure she can survive the toxins :(
Update 18.08.2012 (22:00) She got up and had some water, then went back to sleep.
Update 18.08.2012 Little thingy has been sleeping it off for almost 2 days. She sleeps 99% of the time and only wakes up to have some water and/or liquid vitamins with a syringe. Yesterday we discovered that in addition to flea and tick infestation, she also has sarcoptic mange. She has had vitamin shots and antibiotics and we put stronghold on her( this will also work on her internal parasites). She threw up worms yesterday so we now know she is fighting for her life.

17.08.2012 We found this little girl last night after she'd been abandoned on the field. She is extremely small, malnourished and full of fleas and ticks. I've been feeding her vitamins every few hours but she's very weak and can't even stand. She is about 4/5 weeks old and will be very lucky if she survives. Her eyes are completely shut and purulent, she can't see a thing. Please pray for her!!
