The long overdue post on how we are

Wolfie

Pup Wolfie http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.184712374999565.44226.100003824111250&type=3 had a bad coughing, he was on antibiotics for 2 weeks and a bit of vitamins so these antibiotics don't hurt his imunity but he still was sick and with fever, so we checked him in at a better vet and I am glad to say he is gonna be allright!
Costs with medicine for Wolfie are 50 ron first antibiotics, 46.36 second week of diferent antibiotics, vitamins I will not add because they were for all dogs and in the end 350 ron for making him all better.
We will need to vaccinate Wolfie again, with a proper vaccine done by a proper doctor, so this will be 60 ron more but I calculated the expenses of november so far http://heart-of-timisoara.blogspot.ro/2012/11/expenses-november-so-far.html so you can see why we just don't have that amount :(
Wolfie came negative!! at distemper test even if Arielle had it and lived with him (Arielle is now much better and under the care of our friends (who raised donations for her treatment) from Act Timisoara

We initially were estimated the amount of 1200 RON for her treatment but since than we buy the medicine from a warehouse, we ordered, maybe it will be a bit more cheap, but most important I will go test some of the other dogs from where Arielle stayed, there still are 6 dogs there - one is her sister Alice and the others are not relatives of hers.
Arielle was found in 3 august and taken into paid foster at Adriana Claudia Suba where she was paid to be taken for vaccines that I have nog bottles from, Arielle is vaccinated and dewormed and on 29 october I spayed her too with the help of Munteanu Denisa - but Arielle became ill and two days ago her test for distamper came out positive dispite the vaccines and all. I will not name names and point fingers but I want to beg you help me save Arielle and the entire pack of dogs that lived with her, I took her in 14 october in my shelter, with my (also vaccinated) dogs, I hope the rest of them are fine, I pray she also will be fine. Please have her in your thoughts and prayers too, we have a weak chance but I think/hope/can't give up/believe/want that she'll live.

1.10 - 6.10

This week was dreadful, we lost a dog by pure bad luck, he dig a hole under the wired fence, put his head in and cut his through trying to get out, the neighbours called the dog catchers on our dogs on the field, everything went wrong!!
And when all seemed bad the people scattered our puppies and from all streets I had to pick them up, I eventually did and found 2 new pups too, other pups I mean and thought nothing can go more wrong one of the pups got saturday evening a real bad stomach pain, ate something toxic and he is on perfusions at the vet
but something good came up in the end:
- we had Lupu into surgery http://heart-of-timisoara.blogspot.ro/2012/09/update-lupu.html and he is well!!
- the 2 new pups found foster! here they are on the way to it

- the other pups and endangered dogs we found a kennel and dog houses for them!! I'm just off to tidy up there: this is last night when we got the key:

We want to thank Mrs. Tudor Adriana for the promised help with finding homes for the puppies!! and helping with half of the third vaccine we still have to do to them. And also Mr. Romulus Sale from Casa Cainelui even if his shelter is full he told us yesterday he will help us to spay the females in the area in order to avoid such tragedies happening again. We know that and tried with Sedalin and all medicines to catch them, but now we also had budget issues. Last but not least we want to thank Ms. Flavia Leucuta and Mr. Andrei Fenesan for the rescue operation of Sunday with the ill pup, Ms. Flavia helped us with the money and Mr. Andrei with the car, it is very dificult for us, for example Saturday we sent our pupps with taxi, I mean no one has a car. That's it.

25 September found that on the field with our 8 pups a baby cat showed up (we found foster for her by the next day, we were very lucky!)

27 September found real small adult girl and took her of the streets, lucky enough, we found a foster too

28 September
